Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Executive to manage regulatory documentation, ensure compliance, and oversee product registrations with Malaysian agencies. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a trading environment.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in a science field and has at least two years of regulatory or trade experience in Malaysia, including familiarity with MOH, RMCD, MyIPO and DOSH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Technology, chemistry or science related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a trading company.
• Familiar with Malaysian regulatory frameworks and agencies such as MOH, RMCD, MyIPO and DOSH.
• Good understanding of regulatory documentation, product registration, and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Continuous learning mindset.
• Ability to strategize and deliver on time without compromising quality.
• Experience in cosmetic submission, trademark application, and developing technical documents like SOPs is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and organizing documents required for product registration/information (e.g. MOH Food & Pharma. Div., RMCD, DOSH etc).
• Review and validate product labels, packaging, promotional materials, and technical documents from regulatory perspective to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Help translate or format technical documents when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date records and databases of regulatory files, product specifications and approval statuses.
• Maintain an internal filing system to track submission statuses.
• Support in trademark registration/renewal and tracking of status.
• Update status reports for ongoing applications.
