Job summary

Ambu Global Hub is seeking a Senior R&D Lab Test & Administrator to manage test equipment, ensure calibration and preventive maintenance, and uphold 5S discipline in the lab. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and support daily lab operations.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering with some lab experience and strong English communication to document findings and coordinate with the Product Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing laboratory tests and handling test equipment.
• Proficient in technical English communication, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with documentation procedures and lab records.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of laboratory tests, engineering test studies, and support tools/ Jig ideation.
• Help achieve Product Engineering goals with problem solving, process setup, and implementation.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for safe and efficacious use of products.
• Lead or assist in daily lab verification and lab operational improvement activities.
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment, jigs and tools; ensure replenishment of items.

Job description

Ambu Global Hub is looking for a Senior R&D Lab Test & Administrator. This position manages all test and measuring instruments to ensure that they are well maintained with proper calibration and preventive maintenance conducted. The Senior Lab & Test Administrator also responsible to conduct daily lab 5S activities and propose continuous improvement to the lab management.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge in the laboratory tests, engineering test study, documentation and support in the tools and jigs ideation.
• Meet Product Engineering goals through strategies to solve problems, improve conditions and support activities setup, process flow and implementation.
• Execute laboratory test assigned ensure the data accuracy and integrity to maintain the safe and efficacy use of product.
• Lead or assists in day-to-day activities of lab verification and engineering and laboratory operational improvement activities.
• Maintain the calibration and prevention maintenance of equipment, jig and tools in the R&D Laboratory. Ensure that all the replenished items are constantly replaced.

Supporting Tasks

• Support team in the product test method validation in Life Cycle Management activities.
• Guide and mentor R&D Lab Intern.
• Support in the purchasing, logistic and other administrative task for R&D department.

Suggested Candidate Profiles

• Diploma in any engineering field is preferred.
• Candidate with some experience working in lab environment will be given priority.
• Good communication in English (spoken & written).
