Job summary

Ambu in Malaysia is seeking a Senior R&D Lab Test & Administrator to manage test equipment, ensure proper calibration, and perform 5S activities daily. The role involves proposing continuous improvements to the lab management and supporting product engineering with test studies.

The candidate should have a Diploma in engineering (preferred) and some lab experience, plus strong English communication skills to support documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering preferred.
• Experience in lab environment would be prioritized.
• Good communication in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Take charge in laboratory tests, engineering test study, documentation and support in tools and jig ideation.
• Meet Product Engineering goals through strategies to solve problems, improve conditions and support activities setup, process flow and implementation.
• Execute laboratory tests ensuring data accuracy and integrity for safe and effective product use.
• Lead or assist in day-to-day lab verification and engineering and laboratory operational improvement activities.
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment, jigs and tools in the R&D Laboratory.
