Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead automotive quality initiatives in our Quality & Excellence team. You will uncover root causes, drive transformational improvements, and implement forward-thinking solutions to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

You will collaborate with global development and production teams, manage qualification activities per AEC-Q100, and support functional safety requirements under ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years in semiconductor or automotive quality-related roles.
• Strong automotive quality culture and zero-defect mindset.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, processes, and semiconductor domain.
• Understanding of requirements management.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute automotive product qualification activities per AEC-Q100.
• Perform risk assessments and support risk acceptance decisions.
• Use quality reporting to identify and implement measures to achieve quality objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance quality standards.
• Collaborate with development teams and production sites worldwide.
• Support ISO 26262 Functional Safety requirements fulfillment.
• Manage product quality documentation and customer inquiries through Sales and Marketing channels.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• Utilize expert knowledge of AEC-Q100 standards to plan and execute effective and efficient automotive product qualification activities.
• Drive risk assessments and support decision-making related to risk acceptance and release.
• Utilize quality reporting to identify and implement targeted measures required to achieve quality objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and production sites worldwide.
• Support the fulfillment of ISO 26262 Functional Safety requirements for customers.
• Manage information and documentation related to product quality, including customer quality inquiries and qualification documents through Sales and Marketing channels.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Material Science, or a related discipline.
• More than 8 years of relevant professional experience in semiconductor and/or automotive quality-related roles.
• Strong expertise in automotive quality culture and the zero-defect approach.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, standards, processes, and methodologies, supported by semiconductor industry expertise.
• Thorough understanding of requirements management.
• Demonstrated willingness to set ambitious goals, take calculated risks, and manage risks proactively.
• Excellent proficiency in English communication.
