Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manager Quality Management within the Quality & Excellence team to drive root-cause analysis, transformational improvements and forward-thinking solutions to exceed quality standards.

You will lead OSAT partner quality programs, oversee audits (VDA 6.3), manage deviations, and guide 8D investigations, ensuring robust processes for safe launches, new materials, and process qualification across wafer and module manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years experience within the Semiconductor Industry in Technology Developments/Product Developments/Process Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Deviation management and problem solving.
• Knowledge on ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 requirements.
• Excellent problem solving and statistical analytical skills with quality tools (8D, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, 5 Why, SPC).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• English and Bahasa Melayu (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Implement and track OSAT Partners’ Quality KPI including reporting to IFX Customer & IFX Management.
• Audit and Customer Visit.
• On-site support audit / visit from IFX customers with closure & improvement follow-up.
• Lead 8D root cause finding and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Review & buy off 8D reports and verify 8D commitments.
• Drive OSAT partners to continuously improve quality performance.
• New Product & Process Qualification and Change Management.
• Review Safe launch & Production Control Plan & FMEA.
