Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Tech Malaysia (MBTMY) is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join its software testing team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design automated testing solutions, collaborate with product owners and developers, and build scalable test frameworks to ensure high-quality enterprise software.

You will lead automated UI/API testing, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to quality strategy while mentoring teammates in a hybrid work environment at the Wisma Mercedes-Benz office

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ working experience in software testing, QA, test automation, or related field.
• Education: Degree in IT, CS, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and improve automated testing solutions for enterprise software systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define test strategies.
• Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks and reusable components.
• Ensure QA of product increments including CI/CD integration and security testing.
• Develop and execute automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect tracking, and quality risk assessment.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and automation guidelines.
