Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineering QA/QC professional to supervise construction sites and coordinate with contractors to uphold quality standards. The role requires inspecting works, performing QC checks, and reporting non-conformances to the Resident Engineer with follow-up actions.

A Civil Engineering degree is required, with 2–3 years as Inspector of Works and 3–5 years in QA/QC in similar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as IOW (Inspector of Works).
• Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform site supervision and coordination to ensure works by Contractors meet quality standards and specifications.
• Check, monitor, inspect, perform QC checks, and monitor progress and final inspections on completed works.
• Report non-conforming matters found during inspection to RE and follow up with Contractor on corrective actions.
