Job summary

Ultimate Machining / Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a seasoned QA Manager to take full ownership of the Quality Assurance function in a precision engineering environment serving aerospace and semiconductor equipment clients.

You will lead ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001 certifications, drive Lean Sigma and Six Sigma initiatives, mentor cross-functional teams, and ensure rigorous CMM inspection capabilities and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted
• 10+ years in QA management within precision engineering/manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, Lean Sigma and Six Sigma
• Experience leading internal audits and supplier quality management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality Assurance Department and set the quality direction
• Maintain ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001 certifications and implement Lean Sigma/AS9100
• Lead internal quality audits across all departments
• Monitor quality performance and drive data-driven improvements
• Manage supplier quality and performance reviews
• Liaise with customers and regulators and present quality results
• Lead cross-functional CI initiatives using Lean, PFMEA, SPC and Six Sigma
• Interpret drawings and apply CMM knowledge to inspection methods
