Gen in Kuala Lumpur invites a forward-thinking Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our fast-paced, global fintech team. You will lead testing across web, mobile, and backend systems, shaping quality from design to delivery.

Bring 5+ years in QA, expertise in manual and automated testing, API testing with Postman or Swagger, and SQL validation. You will mentor junior engineers and help embed testing in CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Formación

• 5+ years in quality assurance with manual and automated testing.
• Proficient in API testing and SQL for backend validation.
• Experience mentoring QA team members and leading QA efforts.
• Excellent cross-team communication and test design skills.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Manage and execute comprehensive test strategies with manual and automated approaches.
• Manage and execute API testing using Postman or Swagger.
• Manage and execute UI testing for responsiveness and functionality.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks with Selenium or Appium.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality practices.
• Document test plans, risks and results; track QA progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align QA with goals.
• Identify and adopt new tools to improve testing efficiency.
