Job summary

CFI Financial Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation to join our growing trading technology team in Malaysia. You will design and implement automated tests across REST APIs, UI and mobile platforms, and collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality from requirements to release.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automation experience, hands-on with Selenium, Cucumber and Katalon Studio, plus SQL and Git, within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of automation experience.
• Automation testing expertise in REST APIs, UI, and Mobile.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Cucumber, and Katalon Studio.
• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Comfortable writing and running SQL queries.
• Familiar with Git for source control.
• Understanding of web security standards.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
• Experience with ClickUp and Jira project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and clarify requirements with engineers or project managers.
• Test current and new products, identifying deficiencies.
• Write test cases for each product, task, or enhancement.
• Develop and execute automation scripts.
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
• Identify problem areas, add them to a tracking system.
• Discuss fixes with developers.
• Investigate product quality to achieve better customer satisfaction.
• Plan, create, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team for consistent project execution.
• Identify and prioritize test conditions addressing product risks and features.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Oversee continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain test documentation.
