Job summary

Powtech Solution seeks a senior software engineer in Malaysia to develop GenAI-powered backend solutions using Python, LangChain, and LangGraph. You will build APIs with FastAPI/Flask, extend GenAI workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We value strong backend skills, experience with AWS, Git, and JIRA, plus excellent English communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python experience with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Matplotlib.
• 6+ years of SQL experience.
• 4+ years of proven software development experience.
• Hands-on LangChain and LangGraph for genAI applications.
• Strong backend development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar.
• Advanced Git and JIRA usage.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering user value.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize genAI-powered software solutions for prioritized GenAI use cases.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using FastAPI and Flask.
• Integrate and extend GenAI workflows leveraging LangChain and LangGraph.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Apply best practices in version control, testing strategies, and deployment.
• Document system design, implementation details, and workflows for knowledge sharing.
• Support cloud-based integration and deployment, preferably on AWS.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
