In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Major Role

  • Plan and schedule material demands to achieve maximum On-Time Delivery performance.
  • Ensure material plans are met and develop remedial actions for bottleneck situations.
  • Manage material load and monitor supplier performance.
  • Handle purchasing of product materials to support manufacturing activities and customer requirements.
  • Drive monthly material planning (MRP) based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Apply strong negotiation skills to secure optimal delivery, cost, and quality from suppliers.
  • Work closely with Procurement on new projects and E-Sourcing activities.
  • Support the Purchasing Supervisor and Material Manager in achieving departmental and company KPIs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with the Planner to ensure MPS requirements are met.
  • Check and release purchase orders to approved suppliers with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse on incoming raw materials.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery per MPS schedule.
  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies internally and/or with suppliers.
  • Contribute to achieving company inventory level targets.
  • Update and maintain supplier data and price quotations in the ERP system.
  • Support inventory reduction, control plans, and cost-containment initiatives.
  • Uphold company policies, goals, and objectives.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
