Job summary

PINNACLE GROUP SDN. BHD. seeks a Senior Project Management Manager - Construction to oversee municipal capital projects from planning to closeout.

The role requires coordinating contractors, consultants, utilities, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely, compliant delivery of roads, parks, and infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; PE/PMP would be an advantage
• Minimum 8 years’ progressively responsible construction or capital-project management experience
• Experience with public bidding, grant-funded projects, utility coordination, and regulatory permitting an advantage
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, plans, scheduling, cost control, inspection and change management
• Familiarity with scheduling software and project-management tools
• Ability to travel to construction sites and work outdoors; bilingual ability in English/Bahasa Malay/Mandarin advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple public construction projects including scope, schedule, budget, procurement, construction, and closeout
• Review plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, submittals, change orders and contractor documentation
• Coordinate contractors, design consultants, inspectors, utilities, stakeholders and government agencies
• Monitor site progress, address delays, disputes and proposed changes
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, environmental and safety standards
• Prepare status reports and maintain project records
• Support procurement, bid reviews, consultant selection and contract administration
• Coordinate construction impacts with residents, businesses and emergency services
• Oversee testing, punch lists, warranties, and turnover of assets
• Travel to project sites and attend evenings public meetings as required
