Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, schedules, and budgets to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires 10–15+ years of PM experience in data center or mission-critical environments, with strong expertise in electrical and cooling systems, redundancy design, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• 10–15+ years of experience in construction project management
• Proven experience delivering large-scale data center or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of Electrical systems (UPS, generators, MV/LV) and Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH)
• Experience managing Tier III / Tier IV facilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee CSA, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and specialist systems installation
• Coordinate with design consultants, general contractors, and equipment vendors
• Ensure compliance with data center standards such as Uptime Institute Tier requirements and ASHRAE guidelines
• Drive site progress, monitor milestones, and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Lead risk management, change control, and value engineering initiatives
• Oversee procurement strategy, contract administration, and cost control
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Manage testing and commissioning phases in collaboration with commissioning teams
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and financials
• Lead project closeout, documentation, and client handover
