Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. in Malaysia seeks a Senior Project Information Engineer (Information Management) to oversee asset information and data flow across EPC stages.

You will report to the Project Information Manager and coordinate with system specialists to ensure the Project Database and tools meet project requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Management and at least 5 years of experience in information management, project management or engineering, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in information management, project management or engineering.
• Experience with data/information/document management systems/tools.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Information Manager to review client information requirements and prepare information & data specifications.
• Coordinate with information management system specialists to ensure that the Project Database and Tools are set up as per project needs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain / Vendors & Suppliers, Completion and Quality teams to ensure data requirements are understood and met.
• Interpret reports for ingested data accuracy, compliance & completeness.
• Monitor and report data progress status on a regular basis.
• Liaise with other project functions and the client to ensure data quality of delivered information.
• Manage hand-over to the client of completed project information & documentation per procedures.
• Assist in close-out reporting on information management activities and SBM standards.
