Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience in a senior/lead engineering role, preferably in building services/HVAC/industrial projects.
• Strong Project Engineering and Project Management skills to manage timelines, budgets, resources, and risk.
• Proficiency with project and engineering tools (e.g., MS Project, CAD software).
• Solid communication skills for coordination with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects from concept through completion.

Role Description

The Senior Project Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Selangor, Malaysia, responsible for leading and coordinating engineering projects from concept through completion. This role involves planning project scopes, developing technical solutions, preparing engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, and work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and keep projects on track. Daily activities include reviewing designs and drawings, conducting site visits, monitoring installation and commissioning work, and providing guidance to junior engineers. The role also requires proactive risk management, progress reporting, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
• Several years of experience in a senior or lead engineering role, preferably in building services, HVAC, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency with project and engineering tools (e.g., MS Project, CAD software) and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to work on‑site, manage multiple projects, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
