Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia's Penang region is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee engineering and technical disciplines across projects, from conception to completion.

You will coordinate, monitor and drive teams, ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC and ISO standards, and interact with clients daily to capture requirements.

The role requires hands-on involvement across areas, strong time management, and ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple discipline projects.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and QA/QC policies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor & control the assigned projects
• Hands-on in all areas assigned
• Project expediter & drive team to meet dateline & bottom-line
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.
• Be aware of the needs and expectation of interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
• Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
• intermediate level in MS Office skills
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
