BCM Electronics Corporation Sdn Bhd in Kulim Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Kedah, is seeking a Senior Programmer / IT Application Engineer with 5+ years of software development experience. You will analyze, design, develop, test, and document application software based on user requirements and maintain MES and legacy systems.

The role requires a degree or diploma in CS/IT, strong database knowledge (MSSQL/Oracle), and familiarity with MES. Experience with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

• Minimum of a Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in software programming is required.
• Familiarity with relational databases: MSSQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is essential.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.

Senior Programmer / IT Application Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of software development experience. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with expertise and a passion for analyzing new software application requests, and where appropriate, designing, developing, testing, commissioning, and documenting application software based on user requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Possess a strong understanding of the various phases of the software development lifecycle, along with solid project management skills.
