Job summary

FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to plan, initiate, and deliver TIM programs on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure governance, risk, and quality controls are embedded in every phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Preferred certifications in project management (PMP, PgMP) and Agile (SAFe, Scrum Master).
• At least 8 years hands-on project and program management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Agile practice.
• Experience supervising project teams; exposure to regional/global teams is preferred.
• Extensive skills in planning, budgeting, tracking, reporting, and change control.
• Understanding of various technology platforms across Applications, Desktop, Systems, Servers, Data Center, Storage.
• Banking/Insurance industry experience is preferred.
• Non-IT project/program management exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, manage and deliver assigned TIM program and/or projects on time, on budget and meeting objectives.
• Steer and supervise project team across different projects or workstreams to successful completion.
• Work with senior management on TIM PMO direction and scope; influence peers, stakeholders and leaders to make effective decisions.
• Drive technical team to deliver business values targeted in the project/program with stakeholders and sponsor.
• Perform project/program planning and management tasks including stakeholder management, task assignment and scheduling, monitoring and reporting, and budget control.
