Job summary

Private Advertiser, Malaysia, seeks a Supervisor III, Production to lead a high‑volume manufacturing team across shifts, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. You will apply lean principles, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering, quality and maintenance to resolve issues.

The role requires 5–7 years in production, with 2–3 years in supervision, strong problem solving, and ISO/IATF 16949 awareness. You must be adaptable to a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of production experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949, EHS and quality management systems.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production team members across shifts and lines.
• Ensure daily production schedules meet safety, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor OEE, yield, scrap, and downtime; implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost reduction, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Enforce compliance with EHS standards, policies, and 5S/lean practices.
• Plan manpower, shifts, and attendance.
• Manage production documentation, reporting, and escalation of issues to management.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and handover to mass production.
