Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN MINDE GROUP SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking a Production Planner to support precision manufacturing operations. You will handle production schedules, material readiness, inventory control and ship- ment coordination to meet customer delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant planning experience.
• Experience as a Production Planner, Material Planner or similar manufacturing planning role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production schedules and manufacturing plans based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory, capacity and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production HODs and supervisors on production priorities, schedules and resource allocation.
• Match production requirements against raw material availability and inventory status.
• Monitor production progress and take action on potential delays or changing priorities.
• Manage and monitor inventory covering raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.
• Maintain customer forecasts, orders and planning information within the ERP system.
• Generate and monitor shop orders to ensure production requirements are executed according to plan.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing plans with customer requirements.
• Plan and coordinate shipment and delivery requirements.
• Monitor and analyse planning KPIs and production performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate the timing and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
