Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking aProduct Engineer to sustain and improve existing products in a high-tech manufacturing setting in Penang. You will analyze test data, perform root cause analyses, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure yield, quality and reliability targets.

The role requires 4–8 years in product engineering, a related engineering degree, and hands-on experience with design validation, product qualification, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Product Engineering, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, product sustainment, manufacturing support, and test & measurement systems.
• Experience in design validation, product qualification, and continuous improvement of existing products.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sustaining products while achieving yield, quality, and reliability targets.

Responsibilities

• Interpret test data, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Support manufacturing through sustainment activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
