Job summary

Copeland in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to drive design validation, product qualification, and continuous improvement across sustaining products. You will support manufacturing, analyze test data, and lead root cause investigations within a fast-paced high-tech environment.

Candidates should have 4–8 years in product engineering, strong knowledge of PLM, test systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Product Engineering, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, product sustainment, manufacturing support, and test & measurement systems.
• Experience in design validation, product qualification, and continuous improvement of existing products.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sustaining products while achieving yield, quality, and reliability targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret test data, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and prepare clear technical documentation.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of RF theory, RF testing, debugging, and applications.
• Proficiency in Power BI, data analytics, and automation tools/programming.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers.
