Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia seeks an experienced finance professional to lead Central PC Controls, delivering end-to-end P&L and valuation control functions. You will collaborate with FM, GBS and senior management in Bangalore and Singapore to meet strategic objectives.

The role covers control testing, reconciliations, migration testing, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on risk management and process standardisation. Flexibility in hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• MBA/CA/CFA/ACCA with 4-6 years post-qualification experience in financial services.
• Control mindset with ability to identify and mitigate gaps.
• Good understanding of financial market products.

Responsibilities

• Review/reconcile reports and management packs; post month-end journals.
• Ensure high quality work and adherence to SLAs, KPIs and policies.
• Support change initiatives and conduct UAT for enhancements or migrations.
• Maintain DOIs and perform reconciliations for system migrations.
