MECHATRONICS MALAYSIA

Frencken Mechatronics Malaysia is a leading full-service manufacturer of high‑precision industrial machinery and capital equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Process Improvement – applying Lean, Six Sigma (Kaizen, DMAIC) to eliminate waste, reduce variability and improve first-pass yield.
• Root Cause Analysis – leading investigations into production defects or customer complaints using 8D Reports, Fishbone Diagrams and 5 Whys.
• Statistical Process Control – monitoring and analyzing process performance data, using Cp and Cpk indices to maintain specification limits.
• Audit & Compliance – conducting internal process audits and ensuring adherence to ISO9001.
• Documentation & Control Plans – developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
• Risk Management – performing FMEA to identify potential failures and implementing preventive actions.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – acting as a bridge between production, design engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and support NPI via PPAP.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (highly preferred).

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Analytical Skills – data analysis, SPC, root cause analysis, trend analysis.
• Technical Knowledge – understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Detail Oriented – focus on precision to prevent defects.
• Tool Proficiency – Minitab, SAP (QM module), and CAD software for blueprint interpretation.
