Job summary

OLEOLOGY Asia Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Process Engineer to support design, optimization, and operation of water treatment systems for industrial clients in Malaysia, reporting to the Australian office.

You will work with Design Engineering and Operations teams, perform feasibility analyses, and help develop process control philosophies while coordinating with contractors through project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of proven process engineering experience.
• Feasibility studies, gap analysis and debottlenecking experience.
• Knowledge of GA drawings, PFD & P&ID.
• Experience in water treatment plant design is an asset.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas, Mining and general industry standards.
• Willingness to work in Malaysia and report to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Support process design with Design Engineering and Operations teams.
• Provide input for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Monitor asset performance via remote tools and internal platforms.
• Help develop Process Control Philosophies for water treatment systems.
• Assist CTRs, technical write-ups and client proposals.
• Participate in MOC processes and documentation control.
• Contribute to risk assessments such as HAZOP/HAZID/JHA.
• Assist in Operation & Maintenance manuals and site coordination.
• Coordinate with contractors during fabrication, installation and commissioning.
