Job summary

Ramboll Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process/Mechanical Engineer to join its Waste-to-Energy team in Malaysia. The role spans feasibility through commissioning, requiring cross-discipline collaboration with project managers, technicians and clients across APAC.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years’ experience in waste, energy or industrial processing projects, and strong ability to review technical documents, manage interfaces and deliver practical engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience across feasibility, design, procurement, construction support or commissioning.
• Experience on complex industrial, energy, process or infrastructure projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility studies, concept design and project development for Waste-to-Energy facilities.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables and specifications.
• Review submissions for technical compliance and participate in procurement support.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve interfaces and ensure design quality.
• Assist in HAZOP, design reviews and commissioning readiness workshops.
• Support site visits, progress reviews and commissioning activities.
