Job summary

ESCATEC Group in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer / Process Engineer to design and optimize PCBA and box-build manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety across operations. You will implement DFM, PFMEA, control plans, maintain BOM in ERP/PLM, develop MES workflows, and support NPI and ECN execution, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering.
Conversant in PCBA processes, Box Build Assembly, Jig and Fixture design concepts, PFMEA, Process Validation, SPC and Control Plan.
Critical thinking, analytical, problem solving & communication skills (internal and external).

Responsibilities

Design and implement optimum engineering processes through DFM, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
Generate & review process flow to enhance quality and productivity through best practices assembly processes, jigs & fixtures design concepts, error proofing, and WI.
Maintain BOM accuracy in InforLN/TeamCentre; establish and maintain MES shopfloor system.
Review customer documentation and prepare engineering reports for back-end processes and part approvals.
Coordinate ECN implementation and support NPI activities for new customers.
Prepare Process Validation reports and risk management for medical products; drive KAIZEN projects.
