Job summary

WD is seeking a Process Engineer to lead development, optimization, and continuous improvement of substrate manufacturing processes. You will monitor chemical, mechanical, and optical parameters, conduct DOE and statistical analyses, and collaborate with suppliers to qualify new materials and technologies.

Effective CAPA and SOP management will support safe, compliant operations and high-quality output in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
Fresh graduates with relevant engineering qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain process parameters to meet specifications and ensure product quality.
Perform root cause analysis on quality issues, yield losses, and process excursions.
Plan and execute new process development and qualification for new products and tech transfers.
Conduct DOE and statistical analysis to improve process capability and yield.
Collect and review inline and offline process data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and new materials or process consumables.
Support CAPA, SOPs, and safety/environmental documentation.
