Job summary

Linnovate Partners Limited is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to deliver comprehensive accounting services for private equity funds and SPVs. You will prepare and review fund outputs, respond to client queries, and support audits while driving process improvements.

The role requires strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, 6+ years in fund accounting, and excellence in Excel. You will work with a fast-paced, collaborative team in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CPA/CA) highly regarded.
• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience with a private equity focus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting services for private equity fund clients including processing transactions and fund accounting outputs.
• Respond to client or investors’ queries.
• Review fee calculations (management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, waterfall).
• Review investor capital call and distribution notices; prepare fund quarterly/annual financial reports.
• Assist with CRS/FATCA, VAT, K1s, K3s reporting and audits.
• Support onboarding of existing funds and launch of new funds.
• Participate in technology solutions to address reporting/data needs and drive automation.
• Contribute to process improvements and team performance.
