Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Puchong, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Power Generation to lead planning, execution, and delivery of power generation projects.

This onsite with flexibility role requires regular travel within Malaysia and occasional international travel to support stakeholders and customers. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor budgets and schedules, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies, regulations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and scheduling with stakeholders.
• Lead multiple projects from inception to completion with defined milestones.
• Identify, track, and resolve project issues.
• Monitor and communicate project status to the team and sponsors.
• Plan and monitor budget, timeline, and scope; conduct risk analysis.
• Manage project risk and use quality tools to mitigate issues.
• Document learnings and share across teams; maintain records and notes.
• Coach and develop team members; assign resources and provide feedback.
