Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia seeks an experienced Process Engineer for the Polymers Process Engineering group in Kuala Lumpur. Based at Menara ExxonMobil, you will lead process improvement projects for polyolefins, butyl and elastomer finishing, and deploy modelling tools across global sites.

The role requires 5+ years in polyolefins/elastomers, strong collaboration across multicultural teams, and readiness for international travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with relevant experience in Polyolefins, Butyl or Elastomers processes.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
Innovative and analytical thinking; strong drive to improve processes.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering improvement initiatives for Polyolefins, Butyl, and Elastomer processes, including Reaction and Finishing.
Develop tools for process modelling/optimizations for Global ExxonMobil Polymer sites.
Enhance efficiency and reliability of finishing processes and support manufacturing trials.
Mentor and develop junior engineers; stay updated with process simulation tools.
