Job summary

cbs APAC is seeking a Senior PMO Consultant to lead governance, controls, and reporting across its project portfolio in Kuala Lumpur. You will transform data into actionable insights for the MD and senior leadership, driving improvements in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Department Heads, and Finance, supporting multiple programs with a mix of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid approaches. Strong analytics and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in PMO, project controls, or related role.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or programs is highly preferred.
• PMO certification (PMP/CAPM/PRINCE2) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve PMO governance frameworks, templates, and SOPs across projects.
• Track timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate governance meetings and prepare minutes and agendas.
• Manage RAID logs and ensure action-item closure.
• Support scheduling, resource allocation, and change control processes.
• Prepare executive-level project status and portfolio dashboards.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor junior PMO team members and foster best practices.
