Job summary

cbs APAC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a proactive Senior PMO Consultant to strengthen project governance, control, and reporting across the organization, delivering insights beyond routine status updates and presenting findings to the MD.

You will lead governance frameworks, consolidate data, build dashboards (Excel/Power BI/Tableau), and prepare concise management reports for senior leadership, coordinating with project managers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of PMO, project controls, or related experience.
PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or similar certification is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Maintain and continuously improve PMO governance frameworks, templates, and SOPs across projects.
Track project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies across the project portfolio.
Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee meetings, and governance reviews, including agenda preparation and meeting minutes.
Maintain and monitor project RAID logs and follow up on action-item closure.
Ensure project documentation (charters, plans, change requests, closure reports) is complete and centrally stored.
Support Project Managers with scheduling, resource allocation tracking, and change control processes.
Ensure adherence to Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies as applicable.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations on budgets, PO tracking, and vendor matters.
Prepare executive decks and management reports; present to the MD and leadership.
