Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Plant Manager for Manufacturing Engineering in Prai, Malaysia to lead the manufacturing engineering and program launch teams, ensuring technical feasibility and site growth. You will supervise engineers and technicians, align capital requests with budgets, and drive production excellence through standards deployment.

Key responsibilities include program launch and new product introduction, process design, engineering drawings, budgeting, safety, and cross-functional leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and specify methods and processes to design and improve manufacturing or materials processes.
• Design engineering solutions and validation processes for functionality, performance, cost, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to drafting engineering standards and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Carry out inspections to evaluate quality of large-scale engineering works and specify remedial actions.
• Lead and direct the function's strategy, communicate actions, and motivate the team toward goals.
• Deliver a budget for the area and conduct complex budget analyses.
• Design and supervise installation of plant and machinery to meet requirements and standards.
• Identify manufacturing process shortcomings and implement larger improvement projects.
• Manage performance of a team, set objectives, and take corrective actions.
• Identify and evaluate complex solutions to meet business needs.
• Manage internal client relationships and coordinate resources to support strategy.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment policies to mitigate risks.
• Build organizational capability through development and coaching.
• Drive continuous improvement and lead NPI/Program Launch from C-stage to SOP.
