Job summary
Chris Business Solution Sdn Bhd in Butterworth, Penang, seeks a Lead Software Developer (PHP) to guide a team in designing, developing, and deploying innovative software solutions.
You will design and implement complex applications with PHP/Laravel, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality through reviews and testing, mentor juniors, and help plan projects within timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- Malaysian Citizen only.
- 5+ years as a software developer; 3+ years as tech lead/senior engineer; strong PHP/Laravel expertise.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, Agile and best practices in software development.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring a team of developers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the software development team.
- Design, develop, and implement complex software applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code through reviews and testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor and train junior developers to foster knowledge sharing.
- Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and delivery within timelines and budgets.
