Job summary

Chris Business Solution Sdn Bhd (SalesHero) seeks a seasoned software leader to guide the development team in Penang. You’ll drive architecture, code quality, and delivery of scalable PHP/Laravel applications, collaborating with product and operations to meet business goals.

You’ll mentor engineers, promote best practices, and participate in planning and estimation, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while keeping stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Malaysian citizen only.
• Strong communication in Mandarin and English to support bilingual clients.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on software development, with at least 3 years as Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer, with deep PHP/Laravel expertise.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience leading a team of developers and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities
