Job summary

UST USource is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer in Malaysia to own the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to production support. You will work with PHP, React.js, MySQL, and AWS, delivering robust web applications and API services while applying secure coding practices.

The role requires strong Laravel/CodeIgniter experience, Python know-how, Linux/Nginx expertise, and proficiency with automated testing tools like Selenium and Playwright, plus exposure to GenAI/LLM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years PHP development experience.
• 3+ years React.js experience.
• Strong OO design and development methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
• Experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Python knowledge.
• AWS cloud experience.
• Linux/Nginx administration.
• Experience with REST APIs and service integration.
• Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, secure coding.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements analysis and solution design from concept to delivery.
• Develop, test, and deploy features end-to-end.
• Provide production support and issue resolution for live systems.
