Job summary

Experian is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and operate customer-facing and internal platforms on the PHP and MySQL stack, primarily within an AWS cloud environment. The role emphasizes secure, scalable software delivery and the use of GenAI coding assistants to boost velocity.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in PHP and 3+ years in React.js, a solid grounding in OOP and design patterns, and experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in PHP application development and software design.
• 3+ years of experience with React.js and modern front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, design patterns, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Python and PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with AWS, Linux environments, and Nginx.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners, with exposure to Agile delivery and secure software development practices.
• A commitment to security, privacy, and compliance standards (PCI/ISO/SOC).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing and internal platforms across APIs, services, and data—primarily on the PHP and MySQL ecosystem and AWS Cloud.
• Help the team safely leverage GenAI coding assistants, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable to improve delivery velocity and code quality.
• Align with AI governance standards and ensure secure software development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions and maintain high quality standards.
