Job summary

Ascendion in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in PHP and React to join one of our client teams. You will design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications and APIs, with a focus on scalable, cloud-ready solutions.

The role requires strong PHP and React experience, knowledge of AWS, Linux, and testing frameworks, and collaboration with product, QA, cloud, and security teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
• 3+ years of React.js development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOAD, software engineering best practices, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud technologies (AWS).
• Strong understanding of Linux, Nginx, and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications.
• Build scalable APIs and customer-facing platforms using PHP and React.js.
• Work within AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Cloud, Platform, and Security teams.
• Drive code quality through automated testing and secure coding practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to AI-powered engineering initiatives, including RAG and Generative AI solutions.
