Job summary

Kamlax Global is seeking a Senior Performance Tester in Malaysia for permanent engagement, on-site or remote. You will own performance test execution, workload modeling, bottleneck analysis, and SLA recommendations across complex enterprise applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional hands‑on experience in software performance testing, engineering, and quality assurance.
Strong operational expertise in enterprise performance testing tools, specifically JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
Working knowledge of web services performance testing across HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, and JSON protocols.
Experience with load, stress, scalability, throughput testing, and bottleneck analysis.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, develop, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
Test across HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, and JSON protocols.
Design workload models, traffic profiling, benchmark modeling, and capacity planning.
Identify and debug performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and resource constraints.
Perform response time analysis and SLA recommendations for development teams.
Collaborate with distributed Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall project teams during sprints.
