Job summary

LRQA is seeking a Senior Security Consultant (Penetration Testing) in Kuala Lumpur with shift-based work. You will independently deliver complex security engagements across infrastructure, cloud, mobile, and web environments, ensuring high-quality testing, reporting, and client communications.

You will mentor junior consultants while expanding your own technical depth, contributing to internal knowledge, and supporting presales with technical input.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients during engagements and manage testing updates, reporting, and debriefs.
• Deliver accurate, thorough security assessments and reports with clear evidence.
• Provide practical security advice and remediation recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Independently deliver small to medium engagements and support larger projects.
• Perform hands-on penetration testing across infrastructure, cloud, mobile, web, APIs and other domains.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team knowledge and delivery practices.
• Contribute to testing methodologies, tooling, and documentation enhancements.
• Support scoping and presales activities with technical input and effort estimation.
