Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Malaysia is seeking an Order Engineering professional to review and validate customer orders for accuracy and compliance, coordinating with Sales and manufacturing to resolve issues.

You'll verify product selections, configurations, and pricing for special constructions, interpret technical docs, and support cross‑functional teams to meet customer commitments with high quality. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Order Engineering, Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, commercial documents, and product bulletins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Escalate unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of control valves, valve automation, or flow control products.
• Experience in order management, product configuration, or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Exposure to process improvement, productivity enhancement, or digitalization initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
