Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join our Field Operations team in Malaysia. You will oversee data management, coordinate offshore support, and ensure that CMMS and SAP systems are accurate and up to date.

You will interface with Project, Subsurface, Drilling, Procurement teams and external partners to optimize offshore operations, monitor work plans and budgets, and prepare operations reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years (with Degree) or 5 years (with Professional Certificate) of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data.
Solid understanding of HSSE regulations and oil & gas processing systems.
Proficient in MS Office and operational software (e.g., SAP, CMMS, PI Vision, DCS).
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
French language proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all relevant operating data are collected, compiled, and administered to the Company Data Management system.
Ensure CMMS and SAP systems are updated and current.
Monitor offshore support and logistic requirements/contracts for availability and optimization.
Prepare contract papers and ensure procurement compliance.
Interface with Offshore Production and other groups to ensure smooth offshore operations.
Communicate with external parties (PETRONAS, MPM, partners) as required.
Update Work Plan & Budget (WP&B) and plan/unplanned shutdown activities.
Produce operations reports and presentations for internal/external use.
