Job summary

AIA Digital+ is seeking an Observability Architecture & Design lead in Kuala Lumpur to define and govern enterprise observability standards across the group. You will design end-to-end monitoring across infrastructure, applications, and cloud-native services and drive Dynatrace governance and dashboards.

Responsibilities include integrating observability with ServiceNow ITOM, implementing AIOps patterns, and standardizing logging and telemetry across AKS, cloud services, and on-prem components.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, Observability, or APM.
• 5+ years governing enterprise observability platforms.
• Hands-on Dynatrace experience (APM, infra, Kubernetes, dashboards).
• Experience with Elastic Stack or OpenSearch logging platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with AKS and Alibaba Cloud monitoring services.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise observability reference architecture, standards, patterns, and governance across AIA Group and Business Units.
• Design end-to-end observability for infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, DEX monitoring, network observability, and service health dashboards.
• Lead architecture and governance of Dynatrace as the enterprise observability platform.
• Architect integration between Dynatrace and ServiceNow ITOM Event Management/ITOM Health capabilities.
• Define noise reduction, data correlation, and automated remediation workflows for AIOps.
• Drive platform configuration, onboarding patterns, dashboards, and retention standards.
• Promote standardized instrumentation and telemetry across cloud-native architectures.
