Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks a Senior Technical Delivery Engineer to lead architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management for enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, and SD‑WAN.

You will own design documentation and ensure strict adherence to blueprints while coordinating with Security and Storage teams. You will drive high-availability, disaster recovery planning, and post‑incident RCA, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with vendors for advanced escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical enterprise experience.
• 5–8+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site network infrastructure deployments from inception through operational handover.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven composure under operational pressure.
• Clear verbal and written articulation, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to guide, influence, and align cross-functional technical teams without direct organizational authority.
• Strong sense of ownership, driving tasks and projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of resilient, scalable enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and load‑balancing technologies.
• Produce and review High‑Level Designs (HLD), Low‑Level Designs (LLD), MOPs, and topology diagrams ensuring alignment with approved blueprints.
• Configure, deploy, and validate core network components including routers, switches, wireless controllers, load balancers, and SD‑WAN devices.
• Oversee site staging, structured cabling plans, patching schedules, and final site commissioning.
• Design and validate high-availability topologies, redundant transport paths, and rapid routing convergence protocols.
• Co-design and maintain network DR architecture with Systems & Storage; plan and execute DR tests and validate failover.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for major network incidents and perform RCA to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor estate health, throughput, and capacity; manage software/firmware/hardware lifecycle and end-of-support tracking.
• Partner with Project Managers to scope, plan, and estimate effort across end-to-end projects.
• Interface with Security and Systems & Storage for cross-functional architectures; mentor engineers and enforce SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to standardise designs and drive automation (e.g., scripting) for operational efficiency.
