Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Murex Market Risk professional in Kuala Lumpur with 6–9 years of hands-on Murex development experience, focusing on market risk calculations and reporting.

The candidate will work with MX.3, perform risk calculations validation, and support risk reporting, while collaborating with Risk, Front Office, and IT teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in Murex development with strong focus on Murex Market Risk.
• Strong SQL expertise (query writing, performance tuning, stored procedures).
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python for integration and automation tasks.
• Experience working in Windows Server 2012 and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Job description

Experienced in Murex Market Risk with strong expertise in VaR, sensitivities (Greeks), stress testing, and P&L analysis. Hands-on experience with MRA/MRE configuration, risk calculation validation, and risk reporting within MX.3. Solid knowledge of capital markets products (FX, IRD, Fixed Income) and full trade lifecycle. Proficient in SQL and Unix for data analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting, with exposure to implementations, upgrades, testing (SIT/UAT), and L2/L3 production support. Strong analytical skills with ability to collaborate across Risk, Front Office, and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 6–9 years of experience in Murex development with strong focus on Murex Market Risk
