Job summary

Alcon in Malaysia is seeking a Technician III in Molding & Tooling Engineering to handle mold tooling design and plastic injection processes. You will apply advanced technical skills and follow SOPs and GxP regulations while supporting operations and continuous improvement.

The role requires at least 2 years in Automation/Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Engineering, with practical molding machine experience and PLC/Automation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Automation/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum Diploma in Engineering qualification.
• Candidate with certification qualification + automation experience can be considered.
• Basic molding machine experience.
• Mechatronics in PLC & Automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle highly complex technical tasks related to mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, supporting operations and contributing to efficiency within defined procedures
• Make significant decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following SOPs and maintaining accurate and complete documentation
• Ensure rigorous quality control and comply with regulatory requirements
• Complete all required training and commit to continuous improvement in operations
