Job summary

Intel Corporation in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future devices. The role focuses on designing and improving manufacturing processes, equipment solutions, and process integration to meet device specifications.

You will lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with suppliers, and apply statistical analysis, design of experiments, and data analytics to optimize production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 4+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong statistical analysis and data analytics skills.
• Experience in process characterization, manufacturing process control, and process development.
• Knowledge of experimental design and statistical process control methods.
• Familiarity with test & measurement equipment, schematics, and process control systems.
• Background in process/equipment development and device testing methods.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with SQL-Pathfinder, Python, and JMP for data analysis.
• Hands-on problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience with industrial test equipment (Advantest V93K, Teradyne, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience in test socket and kit design and signal/power integrity analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technology.
• Leads design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes and/or repair reverse engineering.
• Performs pathfinding activities to support process and hardware development and roadmaps.
• Recommends and implements equipment modifications to improve production efficiency.
• Partners with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling elements of the technology.
• Performs process technology feasibility studies via simulations or practical methods.
• Keeps updated on industrial process trends and helps shape cost-sensitive roadmaps.
