Job summary

HFM is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join our team in Malaysia. You will build mobile apps using React Native, implement native Android features with Kotlin, and create reusable UI components. You’ll work in a hybrid setup with 2 days from home and must contribute to automated tests across the SDLC.

Candidates should have a BSc/BA in CS or related field and 3+ years of RN experience on Android, plus CI/CD and testing knowledge. Visa sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of React Native experience with apps for Android.
• Working experience with developing native Android
• Experience with CI/CD environment.
• Experience with automated testing for mobile apps would be considered an advantage.
• Experience in Python Frameworks - FastApi, Tornado, or Flask would be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new or existing Mobile apps.
• Implement fluent user interfaces in React Native.
• Implement native features in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android.
• Implement reusable UI components.
• Accompany changes with a good suite of automated tests.
• Provide full analysis and documentation according to the software development life cycle.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the day-to-day operation of the business.

Requirements

What You Bring:
